Are motorhomes and large buses allowed through the Drive Thru event?

For the safety of our crew and displays, height limit is 13 ft.  Motorhomes and large buses are not allowed on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and the following dates: December 21st through 30th.  

Can I drive into the Drive Thru event with a large trailer attached?

No. Unfortunately, due to safety concerns, attendees riding in trailers are not permitted.  There is no area to park to safely transfer passengers.

Can I have passengers in my truck bed while driving through the Drive Thru event?

We do see occasional passengers in truck beds. Please note, there is no area to park and load.  The show is on a public road and monitored by the Coconut Creek police during the event. Passengers in truck beds being permitted are at the discretion of the police.

Is there a place to park inside the Drive Thru event?

There is no parking available on property.

Are you open every night?

Yes, we are open 6pm to 10pm nightly, from November 22nd to January 3rd, 2026.  This includes all Holidays.

Are pets allowed? 

We absolutely love to see the entire family enjoying the lights.  There are no pet walking areas at the event.

Is the cost per person or per vehicle? 

The cost is per vehicle, up to 15 people per vehicle. Over 15 people per vehicle is bus pricing.

Are motorcycles allowed?

Yes, motorcycles are allowed and priced as a vehicle.  We do encourage automobile traffic with our per carload pricing.

Can I buy tickets online and/or in person?

You can purchase tickets online or in person.  The price is the same. 

Is my previous year's ticket still valid?

No. Only tickets purchased for the current season are valid.

Can I get out of my car and walk around in the Drive Thru event?

No, this is a Drive Through event.  All passengers MUST REMAIN in their cars.  

Are you open on Holidays?

Yes, we are open Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

How late can I arrive at the show?

If you enter the show by 10pm you will be able to enjoy the show at your leisure.

Wait lines are shortest after 9pm.

Can I ride a bicycle through the Drive Thru? 

No.  For safety reasons, bicycles are not allowed to ride through the Drive Thru event.  

Can I get tickets at the gate, or do I need to get them online?

You can purchase tickets at the gate, but HFOL is going cashless, so please bring a credit or debit card, or Apple Pay.

What if the weather is bad? 

The light show experience is best with dry weather, however HFOL is rain or shine, unless lightning closes the park. 

Can we buy food and drinks at the Drive Thru event?

No, please feel free to bring food from home or local restaurants.  Enjoy your evening with your favorite treats from the comfort of your vehicle. 

Are there food trucks?

As of now there are no food truck options scheduled for our Drive Thru nights.

Which side of the park do we enter for the Drive Thru event?

Entrance for the Drive Thru event is the NORTH entrance for Tradewinds Park off Sample Road. 

Where are the religious displays?

We do not have religious themed displays at the Event.  We encourage you to enjoy outstanding holiday displays at places of worship in South Florida.

Can we park and view the lights during the show?

No, our show is choreographed for automobiles traveling at 2-3 mph. The line moves slowly and there is ample time to view and photograph the displays.

What are 3-D Glasses? Do we need them?

To add to your experience, you can purchase Our Holiday Specs 3D glasses, the lenses magically transform any ordinary holiday lights or any other points of light into magical Holiday images. They are fun, but not necessary.

Can I drive my golf cart into the show?

This event is open to licensed vehicles only. 

Do you offer a season pass?

We do not offer a season pass currently. Thank you for your feedback, we will review this as an option for future seasons.

Can I re-enter with the same ticket?

No, tickets are for one-time use.

Do you take Apple Pay?

Yes. Apple Pay is accepted.
